The Beginning and Connected - Membership Class

August 28th - November 13th, 2017

This group is reserved for those currently in the church membership process.

The Beginning is a helpful step for new disciples. During this five-session study, participants will explore the foundations of following Jesus and find answers to the kinds of questions all disciples ask, including:

-What does it mean to become a disciple of Jesus?

-How do I make Jesus the center of my life?

-How do I connect with God in a deep and personal way?

-What does my relationship with Jesus look like in community?

-How do I model Jesus in my everyday life?

After completing The Beginning, we will dive in to CONNECTED: My Life in the Church.

This study gives you biblical understanding of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ. It examines important connections like service, growth, and prayer.

SERVE Week - Reaching our community with the love of Jesus.

October 21st - October 28th, 2017

We desire for service to become part of our lives as a natural outflow of our walk with Jesus. In our quest to become more like Him, we reach out to our community and serve and love in practical ways during specific times throughout the year. As a church, we clear the calendar and focus on reaching out and serving others corporately in order to have the greatest impact!

Most Saturdays clothing, shoes, tents and other basic necessities are handed out to the people at the end of services. Come help setup/takedown the chairs and equipment or hand out food or clothing. There is a children's church that always needs volunteers. We will also be running the soundboard for them. Come join us!

The arena main design

The Arena 2017 - Men's Event

November 3rd - December 1st, 2017

The Arena is an opportunity for men to gather together in a relaxed setting to have fun, build relationships, and worship together. All events are held on Friday nights.

We believe that all men have ‘fight’ in their hearts. It’s how we were made. The question is, what are we fighting for? A mercenary fights for his own benefit, but a warrior fights for a cause bigger than himself. We are called, as Christians, to be warriors for the sake of the Gospel.

Our hope is that while at The Arena, you will experience the depth of God’s love for you, as well as sense the urgency of the battle at hand for our own lives, our families, and our fellow brothers.

1 Timothy 6:11-12 says, "But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.”

The Arena is open to all men, including high school juniors and seniors. Registration not required. Mark your calendar now! Doors open at 6:30pm.

Make the move to the 1st service....from the 2nd!

November 12th, 2017

We are officially looking for 10 In Focus families to move from the 2nd service to the 1st service beginning November 12. It doesn't mean there can't be more, but we want 10 to commit here and now to make the move!

HERE'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Q&A

Why do we need 10 families to do this?

Because the 2nd service is totally slammed full in both the main auditorium with the adults and with the children in Kid Focus. It's a great problem to have, and we want to make room for more guests to come and experience God's love. (AND yet another reason why our Greater Building Campaign is necessary!)

What constitutes a family?

A single person or group of friends are welcome to make the move too, but here specifically, we are looking for 10 families of a parent(s) with at least one child.

How will this affect my "serve one, attend one"?

It will have no affect really. You will simply attend the first service and serve the second service. If you are not currently "serving one and attending one", then please click HERE and find a place to serve during the second service. Your help is needed and much appreciated!

What will my children do while I serve the 2nd service?

For children age 4 through 5th grade, they will attend a portion of the Kid Focus service and then have a "clubhouse" time of hangout, games, and a snack. Younger children will remain in their class for another time of teaching and playing with their friends.

So, is it you and your family??? Thank you for your consideration, now make the move!

Only one parent needs to register here to represent the family. You will be prompted during registration to list the names and ages of your children.
